Discovered by accident 275 years ago, Royston Cave is an enigmatic, manmade, Grade I listed artefact. Who made the extensive range of crude wall carvings… what for… and when? Knights Templar, Masons, monks from the Time Approx 45minsAbbey? Come visit and decide for yourself!

Visit our museum that celebrates the stories and history of Royston and it’s people, from the Ice Age through to the 1950s. Come along to see various items that include our tapestry that is over 25 meters long and covers a period Time Approx 45minsreaching back 64 million years.
