Production Operatives

Thermal Engineering are currently looking for Production Operatives to join their busy team in Royston

The successful candidate will be trained in either the soft or metallic or both areas of the insulation department.

Training will be given to support with the following responsibilities:

•Operate spot and poke welders,

•Cutting insulation material

•Hand dressing techniques using hammers and mallets

•Hand trimming of thin gauge metals and manufacture parts on numerous jigs

•Operate soldering irons

•Sewing techniques

Hours of Work:37.5 hours per week

Salary:from £10.00 per hour up to £11.50 (Soft)up to £13.25(Metallic)per hour depending on experience.

Production Operative Requirements:

•Must have the right to live and work in the UK (Essential)

•Able to read and interpret technical documentation, visual aids and data sheets

•Health & Safety conscious

•Team Player

•Flexible (overtime when required)

•Must be able to work under own initiative with limited supervision accurately and timely

•Willing to engage in continuous improvement projects
