We recognise the value of making our neighbourhood a better, greener place to live, which is why we’ve created the “Love Where You Live” campaign.
Through this campaign, we’ll introduce initiatives to make Royston a better place to live, both now and well into the future.
One of our first initiatives will be focused on reducing the amount of single-use plastic throughout the town and minimising Royston’s overall carbon footprint. To do this, we would like to encourage all customers and visitors to use reusable water bottles.
So, if you are a local cafe, pub or restaurant, please let us know if you would like to take part and become a free water refill station, or if you have any questions about the campaign by contacting us at info@roystonfirst.com.

Another initiative we’re working on is creating digital forms for the town trails, where children are invited to find hidden clues in the shop windows across the town centre.
Traditionally, trail forms are printed and available to collect at various locations. However, using a digital form going forward (including for our upcoming Halloween trail) will help decrease Royston’s paper usage.
Stay tuned for more news on our upcoming initiatives!
