The Community Toilet Scheme is run by Royston Town Council in partnership with local businesses, allows members of the public to use participating locations’ toilet facilities during normal opening hours without needing to make a purchase.
The initiative helps provide cleaner, safer, and more accessible facilities across the town centre.
Every pub in the town centre has joined the scheme:
- The Manor House
- The Chalk Hare
- The Green Man
- The Old Bull Inn
- The King James
- The Jolly Postie
Participating venues will display signs showing that they are part of the Community Toilet Scheme, shown below. Facilities are available during normal opening hours, although access may occasionally be restricted if a venue is hosting a private event.
