Royston’s green open spaces are there to be explored!
Our rural location means that there are many footpaths around the town, and both the Icknield Way and Hertfordshire Way cross through Royston.
Enjoy the open views from Therfield Heath, and the woods and woodland paths at Fox Covert, managed by The Wildlife Trust.
Within the town itself, relax in the green open spaces of the award winning Priory Memorial Gardens, which include a Splash Park and Recreation area for children. In fact, there are 12 recreation grounds around the town for families to explore.
Royston also boasts an allotment site with 125 allotments, and a BMX track which is recognised as one of the top tracks in the region.
