Allotments

Information

Royston’s allotments are based at Coombes Hole, just off Green Street and are managed by Royston Town Council. They provide the opportunity for a healthy and sociable activity for people of all ages, and low cost fresh food production for the family.

Royston Town Council operates one allotment site at Coombes Hole Royston.

The site is divided into 125 x 5 rod plots (125 sq m) and 4 x 2 ½ rod plots.

There are currently 7 water stand pipes; the use of water is included within the rent.

The porta-cabin is used as a club house and a shop, and is open to members every Sunday from 11am to 11.30am during the season.

Please be aware that there is currently a long waiting list (about 3 years) so if you are interested in a plot, you should record your interest early and be prepared to be patient!
